In CYCLOGENESIS I pay homage to the timeless cycles that shape our existence, through an imagined clock, whose layered rotations symbolize the continuous flow of time and change. The clock lacks a beginning or an end showing that change is constant and every measured second is a chance for a new beginning. In meteorology, cyclogenesis refers to three different processes that result in the formation of cyclones and the title of my work reflects that some new beginnings can lead to dramatic changes. CYCLOGENESIS was created using alcohol inks for the base coloured layer, Photoshop to obtain the spherical effect and various layers, and HTML/CSS to create the rotations.
