The main material of the multi-year environmental art project is sea glass brought by waves and ice collected from the shores of Helsinki. Time and the place can be judged from the bottleneck greyed and rounded by the waves. I ponder the piece of glass wandering the world’s seas for decades or hundreds of years. The color reveals during the heat treatment, for example, the green of a wine bottle, the brown  of a medicine jar. Sometimes the initial twilight of the material is revealed to be crystal clear.
